Advanced Nursing Opportunities
You can follow several paths as you advance in your nursing career. Nurse leaders are instrumental in setting the pace for innovation and achievement in these areas:
- Clinical – Continue with a focus on nursing practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nursing Researcher.
- Administrative – Oversee entire units and teams as Nursing Director, or Patient Care Manager.
- Education – Serve as a Nurse Educator within the organization, or a Clinical Nursing Instructor in partnership with the George Washington University School of Nursing.
